Catapult Group’s Founder and CEO Brad Mishlove speaks with Darrell Evans, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Strategist of Yokel Local Internet Marketing, about how entrepreneurs are adapting to the new economy and finding opportunity amid the massive structural changes that are currently underway. It’s easy to get discouraged in the current environment, but entrepreneurs need to focus on what they can do rather than what they can’t. The COVID-19 pandemic hasn’t impacted all industries evenly, and where some activities are now difficult or impossible to do, other lanes of potential growth are now opening. Entrepreneurs are faced with the short- to medium-term challenge of readjusting their revenue streams and moving their businesses to those lanes where they can once again get traction to grow their businesses. The two also discuss the importance of collaboration, both within businesses and between entrepreneurs, and its changing nature as we adapt to remote work. They also highlight the importance of people relative to capital and how they serve as a reservoir of support that entrepreneurs can draw from during their journey.
